Association game
Guess the term!
Great game for the beginning of a lesson and introducing students the teaching theme. This game was made in Power Point, but can easily be made in C# or Visual Basic too. Students have to guess the main term. Our association game is in a foreign language, so we've also translated the new concepts.

Chocolate is a vegetable?
Interesting text in German about chocolate
translation: Chocolate is a vegetable Chocolate is made from the beans of the cacao shrub. Beans are vegetables. Sugar is extracted from sugar beets. Both belong in the category of vegetables. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable. To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food. Chocolate-covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want. Chocolate is good for stress. Consider: Isn't word STRESSED read in reverse DESSERTS?!
